Val Agent Red-Team Card
Last updated: September 24, 2026
Version 1.0
How we test a governed agent before we trust it. Val runs on Vault OS with Palo Alto Networks AI Runtime Security underneath. Every session is logged. This card is updated after every red-team pass.
Governance profile
- Identity
- Scoped service identity, no access outside the concierge tool set.
- Data scope
- Contact fields, trial answers and results only; no client environments, no CRM reads.
- Runtime policy
- Refusals enforced in the agent's system policy, not post-filtered.
- Human escalation
- Named triggers (known account, active deal, breach keywords, request for a human) route to a warm transfer.
- Logging
- Full transcript, decision fields and consent record on every session.
- Disclosure
- Identifies as an AI on pickup and at the top of every chat; two-party recording consent at call start.

Fail: test did not behave as expected Fixed: failed, remediated, and re-run to pass
Known limitations
- Val cannot verify caller identity; she relies on consent and disclosure, not authentication.
- Voice transcription errors on spelled emails are corrected by read-back.
- Free-text chat replies use a hosted model with a fixed policy; when unavailable she falls back to rules-based replies.
